The Fascinators formed in mid 2015 after Emily posted a selection of adverts around the internet (most of them titled 'weirdo musicians wanted'). She soon got what she asked for and connected with Gareth Rhys Prior (lead guitar) and Hal Mycroft (bass guitar). After some searching they connected with drummer, Chris Crabtree and had their inaugural gig at the legendary Garage in Highbury and Islington. Crabtree left the band a few months later in preparation for his move to Germany and the 3 remaining members began the search for additional members. In the meantime, the trio recorded The Fascinators debut EP, BLAM!. Soon after Al Plant (dual lead guitar) and Harrison Moore (drums) joined, and the quintet curated and launched the first Thrash Cabaret event at The Bedford, and in 2018 Harrison was replaced on drums by the incomparable Jonathon Oliver.
They began working on a second EP entitled 'Grit & Glamour' in 2016 which they hope to release someday, when the mad pace of life allows...
